Responsible company: Hylpers L.L.C-FZ. Contact: support@hylpers.com.
1 Who is responsible
Hylpers L.L.C-FZ is responsible for the personal information it uses to operate the Hylpers service in the United Arab Emirates. Hylpers is a mobile marketplace connecting Service Seekers and independent Service Providers.
For privacy questions or requests concerning access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights, contact support@hylpers.com.
UAE contact address: The Meydan Hotel, Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, UAE.
2 Information we collect and where it comes from
Information may come directly from you, your device, other users involved in bookings or reviews, and service providers that help Hylpers operate the platform. The information collected depends on the features and services you use.
- Account and contact information: name, email address, mobile number, account role, country and authentication-related information.
- Service Provider profile information: profile photo, services, skills, rates, availability, service area, experience and credentials you submit. Information included in a public provider profile may be visible to people viewing the listing.
- Booking and transaction information: service scope, scheduled time, service location, acceptance, amounts, fees, completion status, cancellations, refunds and disputes.
- Support and communications: messages, emails, enquiry details, reviews and information or evidence submitted to resolve an issue.
- Location information: service addresses and service areas, and device location when you grant the relevant permission. Precise device location is used only in connection with an enabled feature requiring it.
- Device, app and website information: IP address, browser or app version, device identifiers, security events, crash or performance information, pages viewed and cookie or consent information.
- Marketing information: communication preferences, campaign referrals and advertising interactions.
3 Payment, payout and verification information
Telr, or another disclosed payment or onboarding provider, handles applicable UAE payment, payout and verification processes through its secure systems. Depending on the transaction or onboarding process, this may include identity, bank, card or verification information required by that provider.
Hylpers may receive transaction references, payment and payout status, onboarding or verification status and other information reasonably necessary to operate, administer and support bookings and transactions.
Where full card, bank or identity information is collected directly by a payment or verification provider, that information is processed through the provider’s systems and under its applicable privacy arrangements. This does not mean that Hylpers holds no personal identity, account or transaction information.
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents through ordinary support email or messages.
4 Why we use personal information
Hylpers may use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, maintain and secure accounts.
- Respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- Display Service Provider profiles and help users discover available services.
- Administer live bookings, communications and service completion.
- Process or reconcile payments, Hylpers fees, refunds and provider payouts through payment partners.
- Handle complaints, disputes, safety reports and evidence-based fraud or abuse reviews.
- Maintain and improve the website and mobile application, diagnose errors and assess how features are used.
- Send necessary account, booking, security, payment and service communications.
- Send optional marketing where permitted and consistent with your preferences.
- Meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain appropriate business records and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Personal information is processed using consent where required or another basis permitted by applicable law, including processing reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, perform applicable contractual obligations, protect legitimate interests where permitted, or comply with legal requirements.
Where processing depends on consent, consent may be withdrawn subject to applicable law without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. A materially different or incompatible new purpose requires the appropriate notice and legal basis.
5 Who may receive personal information
Relevant profile and booking information may be shared with other marketplace users where necessary to arrange or perform the requested service. Public Service Provider profiles and reviews may be visible more widely. Users should avoid placing unnecessary personal information in public content.
Hylpers may use service providers for functions such as hosting, communications, payments, onboarding, verification, security, customer support, analytics and advertising.
Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other public authorities may receive information where disclosure is lawfully required or reasonably necessary.
Information involved in a corporate transaction, financing process or due diligence may be disclosed where appropriate and subject to reasonable safeguards.
A relationship between Hylpers entities does not itself authorise unrestricted sharing of personal information. Information is shared between entities only where there is an appropriate operational purpose and legal basis.
6 Website cookies, analytics and advertising
The Hylpers website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security and enabled measurement or advertising features.
Google and other enabled advertising or analytics providers may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to provide, personalise or measure advertisements and services, subject to applicable settings, privacy choices and legal requirements.
You can review the Hylpers Cookie Policy for additional information about cookies and similar technologies.
Google provides information about how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use Google services. Google advertising preferences may also be managed through Google My Ad Center.
Advertising-related disclosures may fall within legal definitions of selling, sharing or targeted advertising even where personal information is not exchanged directly for money. Hylpers therefore does not rely on a blanket statement that personal information is never sold or shared.
7 Your privacy and communication choices
You may change device location permissions through your device settings, use available website cookie or consent controls, unsubscribe from optional marketing communications where an unsubscribe method is provided, or contact Hylpers for assistance.
Necessary account, security, booking, payment and service communications may continue where required to operate your account or a transaction.
Declining optional marketing or other optional processing does not require you to consent to unrelated uses of your information.
Most browsers also provide controls for blocking or deleting cookies, although some website functions may be affected. Privacy choices may need to be configured separately on different browsers or devices.
Browsers may transmit privacy preference signals. The effect of browser-level signals may depend on the browser, website technology, consent tools and third-party services in use. Users should use the privacy controls made available on the Hylpers website or contact support@hylpers.com regarding applicable privacy requests.
8 How long information is kept
Hylpers keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is used and for applicable legal, accounting, tax, payment, security, dispute-resolution and record-keeping requirements.
Account and profile information is generally required while an account remains active. Booking and transaction information may need to be retained after a booking is completed to administer payments, refunds, disputes, accounting, tax obligations and legal claims.
Support, security, fraud-prevention and enforcement records may be retained where reasonably necessary for the issue involved and any applicable legal or security requirement.
Marketing information is retained in accordance with applicable law and the user’s communication choices.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required and there is no lawful reason to retain it, Hylpers will delete, anonymise or otherwise appropriately dispose of it.
A deletion request does not automatically require deletion of information that Hylpers must lawfully retain for a specific purpose. Hylpers does not retain an entire account indefinitely merely because a limited record needs to be preserved.
9 Security and international processing
Hylpers uses organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet, mobile or information system can guarantee absolute security.
Users should protect their account credentials and one-time codes and report suspected account misuse promptly.
Personal information may be processed in the UAE, the United States or other countries in which relevant Hylpers service providers operate. International processing is handled subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards where required.
The particular locations involved may vary depending on the technology, payment, communications, hosting, analytics and support providers actually used.
10 Access, correction and deletion
Contact support@hylpers.com to request access to, correction of, deletion of or other applicable rights concerning your personal information. Describe the request and identify the account or information concerned.
Hylpers may verify identity in a manner proportionate to the request and associated risk and will not request unrelated information merely to process a privacy request.
For account deletion, you may also use the Hylpers UAE Account & Data Deletion page.
Deletion may be subject to specific lawful retention requirements or exceptions. Where applicable, Hylpers will explain a relevant limitation and handle the remaining information appropriately.
Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights relating to withdrawal of consent, restriction or objection to certain processing, correction, access or receipt of information in a portable form.
Privacy requests are handled within the time periods required by applicable law.
11 UAE privacy rights
Where applicable, UAE data protection law may provide rights concerning information about processing, access to personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or erasure, restriction of processing, transfer or portability of information, and objection to certain processing or automated decisions.
Where processing depends on consent, consent may be withdrawn in accordance with applicable law.
These rights may be subject to legal conditions, limitations and exceptions. Contact support@hylpers.com for assistance with a privacy request or concern.
12 Children
Hylpers account holders and Service Providers must be at least 18 years old. The Hylpers marketplace is not directed to children creating their own accounts.
An adult arranging a family-related service should provide only information reasonably necessary to arrange that service and should have appropriate authority to provide information concerning another person.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Hylpers improperly, contact support@hylpers.com so the matter can be reviewed and handled appropriately.
13 Changes to this Privacy Policy
Hylpers may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the platform, technology, service providers, legal requirements or privacy practices.
The current version will display its updated date on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
Where consent is legally required for a particular new use, Hylpers will request that consent rather than treating continued website or app use as blanket consent to an unrelated optional purpose.
